The interior is as beautiful as any cathedral in Europe, with delicate and gorgeous gold decorations and stained glass. In front of the cathedral stands a statue of Mary, and there are many cafes, restaurants, and shops around it, so many tourists enjoy a meal or tea while looking at the cathedral. There is mass every evening, and English mass on weekends.
