Skip Taiziwan! This flower-viewing spot is super quiet even on weekends!

#cherryblossom25 With tulips in full bloom, Taiziwan is packed with people even on weekdays (let alone weekends). So I’m recommending a super underrated flower-viewing spot that stays peaceful even on weekends! 🌸🌷 You’ll find tulips, cherry blossoms, magnolias, and Chinese violet cress blooming all around. The lakeside willows are turning green, and there are large grassy areas perfect for lounging or taking photos. It’s absolutely ideal for photography and bringing kids! The spot is Zhejiang University’s Zijingang Campus — save this detailed guide and go check it out! 🌸 Where the Flowers Are: As you stroll around campus, you’ll see flowers everywhere. Here are some of the prettiest areas I’ve personally photographed: College of Civil Engineering by Qizhen Lake – There’s a lakeside field full of blooming tulips, with two large patches of Chinese violet cress nearby. Baisha Apartments area – There’s a street lined with magnolia trees on both sides. One pink magnolia blooms very low, great for portraits! Entrance via South Gate – Right at the first intersection, both tulips and cherry blossoms are in bloom. Near the Medical School – There’s a massive sea of Chinese violet cress flowers here. West Zone 2 Teaching Area – Home to a huge white magnolia tree. 🗺 Suggested Route: 📌 The campus is quite big, so you can plan a full day to explore. Aside from flowers, the school’s architecture is also great for photos. Six cafeterias are open on weekends, so you can easily settle lunch there. Pro Tip: Enter through the South Gate — there’s parking at the entrance. Then wander your way toward Yinquan Cafeteria for lunch. In the afternoon, continue along Qizhen Lake for more scenic spots! #travel
