West Twin Towers | Navigation Marks of Yuhang

Anle Mountain is located in the southeast of the old Yuhang Town in the west of the main urban area of Hangzhou. 📍Navigate to Anle Temple at the foot of the mountain. The original temple was destroyed, but it has been renovated in recent years to restore its original appearance. It is now the location of the Yuhang Buddhist Association. ✅Exit the temple and climb the stone steps to the north. At the southern foot of the mountain is a martyrs' cemetery, commemorating two revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed themselves for the cause of liberation. ✅The mountain is not high, and you can reach the top in ten minutes. Anle Pagoda on the top of the mountain is a landmark of old Yuhang. It was built in the Wuyue Kingdom of the Five Dynasties. The specific age can be verified, and it has been more than a thousand years. The shape and age of this pagoda are the same as Gongchen Pagoda in Lin'an and Baoshu Pagoda in Hangzhou. Climb the tower and overlook the land of Yuhang. ✅On the hillside on the east side is the tomb pagoda of Master Huiding. Huiding was the Dharma name of Bi Xiugu after she became a monk, who was Xiaobaicai in the unjust case of Yang Naiwu and Xiaobaicai in the late Qing Dynasty. After the unjust case was redressed, he became a monk at Zhunti Nunnery in Yuhang, with the Dharma name Huiding. He passed away here. ⏳Anle Mountain is close to the Yuhangtang River in the north. Buwu Bridge, which spans Shagang from east to west, was the only avenue connecting Yuhang to Hangzhou in ancient times. It is named after Ling Tong, a famous general of the Three Kingdoms, who set up Buwu here. The Qing Dynasty stone arch bridge has a beautiful shape. 🌟Go north for dozens of steps to reach the Nantiao River. Across the bank, you can see Shugong Pagoda standing on the bank of the stream. It was built by Magistrate Shu Zhaojia in the Wanli period of the Ming Dynasty. It is both a navigation mark and a town for the rivers and mountains. The pagoda is surrounded by squares and has a unique shape. Anle Pagoda and Shugong Pagoda stand facing each other across the stream, which is a landmark landscape of Yuhang.
