Hangzhou JW Marriott Hotel review.

Hangzhou JW Marriott Hotel review from a traveler's perspective. Located in downtown Hangzhou, this hotel is next to Hangzhou Tower. The rooms and facilities are better than expected (I was worried they would be old), and the decor is in line with the old money style of the time. This hotel is suitable for business travelers or those who want to explore the city on foot. Overall rating: Three and a half stars. The service, breakfast, and location are all in line with the JW brand. However, the hotel is quite old, so the rooms are small, and the so-called West Lake view is basically a distant view of the lake. Location: The location is great, the hotel is next to Hangzhou Tower, and it's a 10-minute walk to Wulin Square. There are many restaurants and shops nearby. The only downside is that it's a bit far from the subway station, and about 3 km from West Lake. Rooms: We stayed in an Executive Lake View Room. The room was well maintained and didn't look like it was 10 years old. It seemed like it had been partially renovated. The room was small, there was no view from the window, and the facilities were a bit lacking. The overall color scheme was old money style: gold, blue, and white. Hotel facilities: Lobby: It's quite grand, but it feels a bit narrow. Lounge: Located on the 26th floor, P7 is a view from the lounge. It takes up about half of the floor, but there's only one food bar. Pool: We didn't bring swimwear, so we didn't see it. As an old hotel, it feels a bit outdated, and the public areas are shared with the Courtyard next door, which makes it feel a bit less upscale. Dining: The breakfast was very good overall, with four stations (made-to-order station, Western fruit salad station, dessert station, hot food and fried food station). There was a wide variety of food and it tasted good. The only downside is that it's next to the lobby and semi-open, so the dining environment is a bit lacking. Service: The service makes up for the lack of facilities. From the doorman to the front desk to the housekeeping staff, every staff member proactively greeted us. They were very service-oriented.
