🏞️ Xixi Wetland Park is divided into a paid area and a free area. This time, I walked in the free area, which is enough to appreciate the beauty of Xixi Wetland: forests, lakes, reeds, wetlands, bamboo forests, Jiangnan gardens, and ancient-style buildings. It took 3 hours (maybe I walked slowly...), and I didn't take the same route back. 🚶 Hiking route: China Wetland Museum - Lianhuatan Bird Watching Area - Gaozhuang - Qushui Nunnery - Hezhu Street ✅ China Wetland Museum A must-visit! The upgraded Wetland Museum is even more beautiful. Not only is it good for taking photos, but the exhibitions are also quite rich, and the technology is far ahead. Especially the large screen for watching movies, the visual effects are even more exciting than watching movies. I watched it three times in a row... ✅ Lianhuatan Bird Watching Area Maybe there were no bird watching tools, such as telephoto lenses or binoculars, so I only saw egrets. However, even if you don't watch birds, it's very pleasant to sit in the bird watching pavilion and feel the wind. ✅ Gaozhuang Gao Shiqi's estate is said to be the scene in the novel "Dream of the Red Chamber". Every window has a view, with small bridges flowing water, pavilions and towers, and greenery everywhere. There are few people and it is quiet. Take a leisurely stroll and enjoy the tenderness of Jiangnan gardens. ✅ Qushui Nunnery A small temple hidden in Xixi Wetland. The yellow walls and black tiles have a special flavor in this green area. When I went there, it was late, so I could only walk into the courtyard and take two photos. It was quite artistic. ✅ Hezhu Street Bluestone road, white walls and black tiles, small bridges and flowing water, the ancient-style street is quiet. Only three or four shops are open on both sides of the street.
