Vanilla Hill Chiang Mai: A Natural Retreat Not Far from the City

Introducing Vanilla Hill Lodge in Hang Dong District, Chiang Mai. This place offers a feeling of being in a vast forest, combined with simple yet charming decor. The rooms are spacious and fully equipped with amenities. Most importantly, the view from the room is spectacular! We stayed in The Hill Room, which features a large California King bed. The room is airy and open, with large glass windows offering a full view of the mountains. The cool night air is perfect for sipping wine on the balcony. Additionally, the room has a work desk, making it convenient for those who want to work from the hotel. One of our favorite features is the large, clean bathroom with clearly separated wet and dry zones. The water pressure is strong, and there are mirrors in every corner. The minibar is well-stocked with free snacks and drinks. You can also request wine glasses or a wine cooler, making your stay even more perfect. The breakfast may seem ordinary, but it uses high-quality ingredients, especially the pork congee. A minor downside is the humidity in the room, which can cause a musty smell if the room is closed for too long. Additionally, the path to the accommodation may not be suitable for large wheeled luggage as it consists entirely of stairs. This place is also suitable for those who are not confident in driving up steep hills. The road to the lodge is very good, and we could easily drive up and down to find food in the city.
