The Wuling Congtai that has waited for you for a thousand years

🌺 Congtai Park, located in the center of Handan City, Hebei Province, is one of the earliest constructed and large-scale historical and cultural parks in Handan. The park's grand and elegant ancient-style gate is inscribed with 'Congtai Park' by Guo Moruo. 🌸 The park is named after the Wuling Congtai in its center, which is said to have been built during the reign of King Wuling of Zhao (325–299 BC) and has a history of over 2000 years. 🏵️ The park is open to the public for free. In spring, stepping into Congtai Park, you will see a riot of flowers blooming under the Congtai, the lake embracing the Congtai, and the lakeside is adorned with ancient pines and green willows, pavilions and towers, reflecting the mountain scenery and the shimmering lake, with light boats dotted about, creating an enchanting landscape. 🌼 Congtai is a symbol of the State of Zhao, a place where the kings of Zhao reviewed their troops and enjoyed song and dance performances. Throughout the long years, it has endured countless natural and man-made disasters, but it still retains its unique classical pavilion style.
