Grand Hotel Hamamatsu: A Photogenic Hotel with a Delicious Breakfast

During my trip to Shizuoka, I stopped by Hamamatsu and checked in to the Grand Hotel Hamamatsu. It's considered a relatively large, upscale hotel in the area, located about 1.5 km from central Hamamatsu. It's quite suitable for road trips and group tours, with free outdoor parking and pleasant surroundings and views. There's a FamilyMart nearby where you can buy daily necessities and snacks, as well as some Japanese restaurants. The hotel's public areas are spacious, making them ideal for large conferences and weddings. 🏨The hotel service is excellent and the facilities are very clean. It's also a photogenic hotel with an upscale ambiance. The scenic elevator overlooks the stylish atrium (a great place for weddings), and I learned that prominent Japanese political leaders have stayed here. However, the accommodations are a bit outdated, especially the bathrooms, which could use some renovations to better meet the needs of modern guests. 🛌I stayed in a double room with a balcony, about 28 sq m, with a great view from the window. The room key🔑 has a unique design. The double bed is spacious, comfortable, and soft, and the room is well-equipped with smooth Wi-Fi. High-quality cotton slippers and toiletries are provided. The hot water is perfect, and the bath products are top-notch. 🍱A special mention goes to the breakfast restaurant on the 12th floor, which offers panoramic views. The breakfast selection is extensive, high-quality, and delicious, living up to the hotel's upscale reputation. The price of RMB 550, including breakfast for two, is reasonable. If they updated the slightly outdated bathrooms, it would definitely be worth staying for a few more nights.
