Hamamatsu Station

This station is located in the center of Hamamatsu City, the central city of western Shizuoka Prefecture. The restaurants in the station offer local specialties and B-grade gourmet food, so it's always hard to decide where to go. When you think of Hamamatsu, you think of eel...but it's expensive, so I usually choose Hamamatsu gyoza. The occasional luxury is sushi! The fresh fish caught in Shizuoka Prefecture is incredibly delicious, and I especially recommend the tuna and bonito. The Shizuoka way to eat bonito is as sashimi, not as tataki. About a three-minute walk away is Shin-Hamamatsu Station on the Enshu Railway, also known as the "Red Train." Most trains are two-car trains, but there are many trains running, making it convenient for accessing Hamakita. #Hamamatsu #HamamatsuStation
