Walking around Mount Hakusan, one of Japan's three most sacred mountains

To Mt. Hakusan, a very popular national park in the Hokuriku region. A six-hour nonstop drive from Tokyo was extremely tiring. But the scenery blew it away. On weekends during the summer season, park at the Ichinose trailhead and take a bus for 800 yen one way to the entrance of Betsu-do Deai. The altitude increases considerably, making it much easier. The climb is on the Sabo Shindo trail. The altitude increases steadily and it takes three hours one way to Murodo-daira. There are many springs along the way, so there is no need to worry about water. There are also many flowers in bloom, as you would expect from one of the 100 famous flower mountains. From Murodo-daira to the summit, it feels like a spot with a spectacular view of the sky. You can stroll around while looking at the many swamps and feeling the volcano. #Mountain climbing #Mt.
