A must-see attraction on Cat Ba Island in North Vietnam - Hospital Cave

The Hospital Cave is located about 10 km north of Cat Ba Island, on the road to the entrance of Cat Ba National Park. The hospital was built as a three-story hospital with Chinese assistance during the Vietnam-US war. Built between 1963 and 1965, the hospital was in use until 1975. The cave has 17 rooms, including an old operating room (complete with patient mannequins) and a huge natural cave used for gatherings. The entrance fee is 40,000 VND. #LocalTourism
