Hai Phong Attractions - Chùa Dư Hàng Pagoda, the oldest temple in Hai Phong

Chùa Dư Hàng was founded in the early years of the Le Dynasty, which is now the Great Viet Dynasty of Vietnam from 980 to 1009. It was a dynasty that had the merit of repelling the invasion of the Song Dynasty. During the reign of King Le Gia Tong (1672), Minister Nguyen Dinh Sa (Chan Huyen) donated property to purchase land to expand the temple and complete the bell tower. It was not until 1917 that a major restoration was carried out on the present-day building.
