✅I haven't stayed at many Marriott hotels, and this is only the second one I've stayed at. The first one was in Nanning. I think the reason I don't stay at Marriott hotels often is because they are usually located in old towns, which is not very convenient. But this time, and the last time I stayed at the Marriott in Nanning, I felt that Marriott is an option that cannot be ignored and can bring unexpected superior experiences. ✅This stay was very good. First of all, I saw that the executive suite was locked on the app two days before check-in. The room should be second only to the vice president suite and the president suite. The area is 133 square meters, which is quite generous. The day before check-in, the hotel called and asked if I would mind if the suite view was blocked and I could not see the sea. Later, I felt that it would be meaningless to live by the sea without seeing the sea, so I asked for a high-rise sea view room, and they arranged a sea view room on the 8th floor for me. When I arrived in the room, I found a lot of surprises, a handwritten welcome letter, a welcome display on the bed, a handwritten check-in blessing from the cleaning aunt, and a super large fruit plate. Although the sea view is not very good, the superior service can make up for all the shortcomings and bring a great check-in experience. The hotel occupancy rate is very high. On the day of check-in, I saw that there were only executive rooms left on the app, and after nightfall, I saw that the lights were on in the rooms next to the building. Even so, I was upgraded to a suite two days before check-in. The sea view room I finally chose was also on the 8th floor where the lounge was located, next to the lounge. Although the sea view is blocked by the lounge building, it is not a big problem. You can still clearly see the sea in the field of vision, which is refreshing. The room hardware is well maintained and there are basically no traces of use. From the style, it should be an old hotel, and it is not easy to maintain this level. ✅After all, it is a resort hotel, and the outdoor swimming pool is quite good. The swimming pool is large and there is a hot spring area in it. The hot spring water temperature is not high, about 38 degrees. Maybe because it was a bit cold at night, there was no one in the swimming pool, but the hot spring pool was full. There is no changing room in the swimming pool area, and the changing room is in the main building, which is not reasonably designed. There is no obvious sign when you walk out of the main building to the hot spring pool. It took a lot of effort to find a sign and found that it pointed in the wrong opposite direction. In fact, the original direction was correct, but for some reason, the hotel only left a small door on the edge of the large swimming pool area, making it inconvenient to enter and exit. ✅The city of Haikou gives me the feeling that it has a lot more life than Sanya. When it comes to commuting, it is still congested to death, and the streets are full of cars at night. I will stay at the Westin in the city again when I have time to experience this city more deeply.
