Haikou Four-Day Tour

Second time going to Haikou! A local friend took us around for four days haha The first day, we got up early and headed straight for the Qilou Old Street to eat Amei's Hainan noodles. The taste was really good, and we got free conch soup to drink. In the afternoon, we went to Wenchang to drink Dad's tea at Xi Wang Tea House. Our Haikou friend said it was very authentic, with an average cost of 30 yuan per person. The fried spotted grouper with instant noodles is a must-order, super delicious. In the evening, we took a walk at the Hilton Hotel to see the sea and take photos. At night, we drank coconut water to cool down. The second day in the afternoon, we went to Jinsuimen to drink Dad's tea. The environment was nice. I recommend the cold chicken feet and the fried corn cakes, which are super tasty. The fried corn bursts with juice when you bite into it, with an average cost of around 45 yuan per person. In the evening, on the way to Haida Night Market, we drank the popular salty lemon water and guava lemon water. So delicious, my friends! My friend said she used to drink it often when she was in school. At the night market, we had Haikou's first herbal jelly with ice cream, which was very tasty! But be prepared to queue. I bought a pair of shorts, just haggle with the shopkeeper, and cut the price in half! Got the special coconut tree🌴 shorts for 25. The third day in the afternoon, we went to drink at Jufu'an. I highly recommend the fried chicken wings. Their chicken wings are cooked just right, tastier than any other Dad's tea shop. Also recommend the fried radish cake➕egg, very tasty, with a sour and sweet dipping sauce. The average cost is 50 yuan per person. The fourth day, we went to Zhengfanghua again. I drank there twice the last time I was in Haikou, and here I am again haha. I highly recommend the red rice sausage and taro pastry. The fried spotted grouper cake is also worth a try, with an average cost of 45 yuan per person. After drinking, we went to Yundong to watch the sunset. Many people check in there. Yundong Library requires a reservation, but I didn't go haha. It's a great place for photos. The four-day trip really wasn't enough to eat everything. I suggest everyone rent an electric bike to go out in the afternoon; it's very sunny during the day, so be sure to do sun protection. And when renting an electric bike, be sure to bring a helmet, as you'll be fined if caught without one. I usually drink tea at noon, drink until the afternoon, and then do activities in the evening. Riding an electric bike is very comfortable. I ate Zao Bo vinegar at a friend's house, you can try it too, the taste is sour and spicy, very appetizing!
