Art and Ambiance in The Hague

The Hague in Netherlands is a vibrant city with rich history and stunning architecture. It is also the political centre of the Netherlands with many key institutions like the Dutch Parliament. More importantly, I went specially to see the painting - Girl with a Pearl Earring! Attractions: 1. Mauritshuis + Girl with a Pearl Earring Highlights - Mauritshuis is a famous art museum and has a great collection of artwork from Dutch Golden Age, including works by Vermeer and Rembrandt. Also, the museum building itself has beautiful architecture. Take time to admire the oil painting - Girl with a Pearl Earring by painter Johannes Vermeer. 2. Peace Palace Highlights - This is the seat of the International Court of Justice, the palace is stunning with beautiful gardens and rich history. 3. Binnenhof Highlights - A historic complex with very cool Gothic architecture and the iconic Hall of Knights. 4. Noordeinde Palace Highlights - Beautiful royal palace for Dutch monarch with elegant architecture. 5. Grote market Highlights - This is a lively central marketplace, where you can find so manh shops selling fresh produce, local delicacies.
