Enjoying Hagi's Castle Town from a Boat in Yamaguchi Prefecture

Hagi in Yamaguchi Prefecture is a tourist destination that features the Hagi Castle Town, which was registered as a World Cultural Heritage site in 2015, and the Horiuchi Important Traditional Building Group Conservation Area. While it is certainly enjoyable to stroll around with a map in hand, I took a ride on the "Hagi Hakkei Sightseeing Boat" to enjoy Hagi from the water. The approximately 40-minute boat ride allows you to spend time in the pleasant breeze. The boatman's stories were also fun. Special courses are also available in spring, summer, autumn, and winter. There was a free parking lot available during the boat ride.
