Walking through spring, a travelogue of Hwadam Forest

In the midst of a busy life, there’s a place that comes to mind when you want to pause and rest your heart. That place is Hwadam Forest. True to its name, which means 'a forest where you can quietly converse with nature,' this is where spring arrives first. 🌿 A path blooming with fresh green hues As soon as you pass the entrance, a wave of spring unfolds before your eyes. Tender green leaves, vibrant azaleas, and shy cherry blossoms— every color feels soft and warm. Walking slowly along the trail, even your steps and breaths naturally become lighter. ‘Ah, this is why people come to Hwadam Forest,’ I nodded quietly to myself. 🌸 A feast of spring flowers What stood out the most were the daffodil hill and the cherry blossom tunnel. Yellow daffodils swayed gently, and cherry blossom petals fluttered in the breeze— it was a living spring that couldn’t be fully captured in photos. Everywhere, spontaneous exclamations of “Wow…” filled the air, and simply breathing felt like healing. 🌳 A landscape of trees, water, and wind As you walk along the path, small ponds, babbling brooks, and ancient trees standing quietly greet you. Sitting on a bench, gazing at the sky reflected on the water, you can feel time flowing slowly. It’s a space where you don’t need to say much, just sharing the air with someone is enough. ☕️ A moment of leisure, a cup at the café After the walk, a warm cup of citron tea at the café nestled within the forest. Outside the window, the scenery; in your hands, warmth. It was a serene moment to end the day. 🌼 Hwadam Forest, a forest where spring speaks Though not extravagant, the spring in Hwadam Forest is truly gentle. “It’s okay, you can take your time, just as you are now.” It felt like the forest was whispering those words.
