Namhansanseong (Gwangju)

#cherryblossom25 Namhansanseong felt like walking through a secret cherry blossom fortress. This UNESCO World Heritage site sits atop a mountain, and in April, its stone walls are framed by blooming sakura. I hiked parts of the fortress trail, with petals swirling around ancient gates and lookout points. The mountain air was crisp, and the views over Seoul below were breathtaking.
