The Majestic Harmony of Hwaeomsa Temple

Hwaeomsa Temple, founded by Monk Yeongi in 544, is one of the oldest temples in Korean Buddhist history. Located on the slopes of Jirisan Mountain in Gurye Masan-myeon, its grandeur blending with the natural surroundings leaves a lasting impression. The stone steps, zelkova trees, and flower petals gently guide your steps, creating a serene atmosphere.
