The most surprising thing about visiting Libo is not Xiaoqikong but the Yaogu Buyi ethnic village. It was also recommended by an online influencer. After visiting Xiaoqikong, it was just after 2 PM, so we took a taxi to Yaogu. The village is quite small but has a lot of character. The old lady at the entrance speaks Mandarin quite well. She said that she dyed the cloth herself, and then we bought a tablecloth from her. She doesn't use WeChat, but luckily we brought cash. We shopped at other stores and bought clothes and cloth bags. I really like the cheongsam in picture 1⃣️1⃣️; now looking at the photo, I realize the pattern is a phoenix. Unfortunately, I gave up on it because of my sturdy calves. Following the advice of two young ladies, we went back to Dongdao. The shops there are all run by young people. The tie-dye clothing and handmade silver jewelry designs in one of the shops are very interesting. I wanted to buy a patchwork tea table cloth, but the size was a bit awkward, so I gave up. Another young lady's beaded jewelry was also particularly beautiful, and I bought two necklaces. It feels like the whole trip was all about shopping, contributing to the economy. I highly recommend friends who have time to go and visit. In the evening, we ate at Zhigang Ecological Beef in Libo town, recommended by the ride-hailing driver. It's a restaurant they often go to themselves. The beef had a very meaty flavor and comes highly recommended.
