In Qingyan ancient town, there are old building complexes with ancint melodies: nine monasteries, eight temples, five pavilions, two ancestral halls, one courtyard, one tower, some stone arches and a city wall, therefore, Qingyan is honored as one of the most charming ancient towns in China. The wall is one of the City’s prides as it served a very important purpose during ancient times. Today many people climb to reach the top as a way of exercising, to remember the history of the wall as well as to catch the spectacular views from the top.
