Huanglian Waterfall

Huanglian Waterfall is also known as Huanglian Village Waterfall. Huanglian Village is the only ethnic minority village in Yangchang Town, Wudang District, Guiyang City, Guizhou Province. It is located 45 km north of Guiyang City and about 7 km northeast of the Yangchang Town Government. Huanglian Waterfall is called Luoshuitan Waterfall by locals. It is located in the upper section of the Malu River Basin in Huanglian Village, between Pipa Village and Baishi Rock. The waterfall is about 100 meters high and 20 meters wide. The water source mainly comes from two streams in Jiagang and Yangchang Hills. During the rainy season, the waterfall is like flying snow and splashing jade, pouring down like a downpour. When the water hits the rocks at the bottom, it sounds like thunder. The splashing water and rain mist can cover more than 300 meters of space and ground. The rainbow reflected on sunny days complements the green mountains on the right and the white rock walls on the left, forming a beautiful natural picture that makes visitors linger. It is truly a hundred-foot cliff with green smoke locked high, and a jade dragon's saliva hanging in mid-air. In winter, due to the lack of rain, the waterfall basically disappears, but it is still worth seeing. ❤Recommended reason: In addition to the waterfall, Huanglian Village also has a thousand-year-old ginkgo tree, which is over 1,200 years old and has been growing since the Song Dynasty. In autumn, the golden leaves fall all over the ground, making it very suitable for taking photos. You can also pray for blessings under the tree for peace and happiness.
