There is a spiritual spring in the mountains—Ascending Cloud Mountain, the spring of Yunshan

Following the flower borders of the cloud valley, I continued to climb higher. The path gradually turned into a winding mountain road, with hairpin turns outlining the most beautiful curves of the mountain. Reaching halfway up the mountain, among the green trees, a white stone pavilion faintly appeared. Beside the pavilion, the sound of water trickling could be heard, and a clear spring emerged from the crevices between the rocks in the forest, known as the spring of Yunshan. This is a halfway up the mountain spring that has been famous in Guiyang since the Ming and Qing dynasties. It used to be located in the suburban mountains, rarely visited by people, but now it has become part of the central park in the city, which inevitably makes one marvel at the rapid changes of the times and the speed of urban development. Resting for a while by the spring under the forest, I turned and entered the dense woods, and thus we entered the core area of the Ascending Cloud Mountain Forest Park.
