GUISI LIGHT HOUSE: PICTURESQUE VIEW

Although the structure of Guisi lighthouse is already disarray, rotten metal remains and almost ruined, yet being the one of the oldest lighthouses in the country makes it a historical landmark. It is located in Nueva Valencia, Guimaras. It is actually an 18th century spanish colonial lighthouse, 17.5 meters high with octagonal and cylindrical tower, built to guide mariners passing iloilo and guimaras. I walked for 15 minute trail from the parking area and enjoy the view of the sea. The experience is so relaxing, enjoyable and a little bit nostalgic on top.
