No child can resist this place! Recently, Guangzhou has been enjoying sunny days with temperatures soaring to 35°C. I decisively took my little brother to nearby Guilin for the weekend to escape the heat and breathe in some fresh oxygen 🌳 I must say the family-friendly hotel we stayed at was incredibly comfortable - even I didn't want to leave! From Guangzhou, it's a 3.5-hour high-speed train 🚅 to Guilin Station, then just a 10-minute taxi ride. The hotel's most distinctive feature is the 9th floor with dual swimming pools + a massive 100-square-meter children's play area 🎠 They even created a shallow pool specifically for younger children. My brother couldn't even walk straight when he saw it - he was dragging me to go swimming before we could even unpack our luggage 🧳 The pool isn't heated, but in the current weather, it's perfectly fine for kids to swim. Plus, the cream-colored Instagram-worthy aesthetic makes every casual photo look amazing! (Just look at the pictures - you really don't need any photography skills) We stayed in a family room that my brother chose himself, with adorable yellow duck 🐥 elements throughout. It not only had a rocking horse, building blocks, and a small tent 🏕️ that kids love, but also various children's toiletries 🪥 that moms appreciate. They've thoughtfully catered to both children and mothers. The staff were very warm and attentive, helping me bring things to the table during breakfast. The hotel is right in the city center, just 600 meters from Elephant Trunk Hill ⛰️ - only a 5-minute walk. Other core attractions like the Sun and Moon Pagodas, East-West Lane, and the food street 🍲 are all nearby. You basically don't need to take taxis 🚗, as the furthest attraction is just a 20-minute walk away.
