Guangxi Guigang Tanling Village Tan Shoulin Former Residence and Historical Relics Exhibition Hall.

The Tan Shoulin Former Residence and Historical Relics Exhibition Hall covers a total area of 1,820.23 square meters, with a total construction area of 1,243.48 square meters. The Tan Shoulin Former Residence was built during the Qianlong period of the Qing Dynasty and has a history of more than 200 years. It is a typical brick-wood structure courtyard with a north-facing hall, divided into front and back halls, with a patio in the middle. Due to years of disrepair, the Tan Shoulin Former Residence in the courtyard is dilapidated and old. Therefore, the Tan Shoulin Former Residence was renovated with an area of 379.55 square meters, and a new Historical Relics Exhibition Hall was built with an area of 863.93 square meters. The Tan Shoulin Former Residence and Historical Relics Exhibition Hall are mainly to commemorate the revolutionary predecessor Tan Shoulin. The Historical Relics Exhibition Hall is composed of five parts: "Youth Aspiration, Patriotism First", "Peking University Study, Pursuit of Truth", "Shouldering Heavy Responsibility, Sparks of Fire", "Fearless Sacrifice, Perseverance Struggle", "Heroic Sacrifice, Heroic Spirit Lasts Forever". With history as the clue and time as the annual ring, through the scene reproduction exhibition hall, model display, picture board display and other methods, the regional culture is highlighted, and the short life of Tan Shoulin's revolutionary head and bloodshed is told. The fearless revolutionary spirit of "killing the head as the wind blows the hat, sitting in prison also wants to break through the sky" inspires future generations to stick to their ideals and beliefs. The Tan Shoulin Former Residence and Historical Relics Exhibition Hall have been identified as the Guigang CPC Party History Education Base, Guigang City Social Science Popularization Base, Gangnan District Red Culture Science Popularization Base, and Gangnan District Red Scarf Off-campus Activity Base. The Tan Shoulin Former Residence is a key cultural relic in Guigang City.
