[Guangzhou] Walk into Qing dynasty at Thirtheen hongs!

First of all this exhibition is FREE! I never used to understand why people hunt elephant tusk, like what do they use it for? But after this exhibition, I understood why the wealthy and royalties love it so much. It’s truly exquisite. (Not that I agree with it, I’m very against animal harm) Yet I have to agree the art work they made from the tusk is nothing I’ve seen anywhere else It’s truly an art and impeccable skilled worksmanship Here most of the things are donated by a couple, in fact they own the exhibition. Also makes me wonder their family background to own so many historical artifacts. Throughout the exhibition me and my friends are just exclaiming about how people in the past have really good taste, you can tell from the things they like, the art, the vase, the silk the clothing to even handheld fan. They are all art. Yet in hundreds of years our taste has evolve into mordern, sleek and simplicity. Is it a revolution?
