Shamian — A Century-Old Christian Church

Built in 1864, Shamian Church is a well-preserved, century-old Christian building. Originally established by the Church of England in Shamian as a church exclusively for foreign residents, it is now open to tourists. The church features a simple design, and its interior evokes a sense of tranquility, peace, and solemnity. The church is adorned with exquisite stained-glass windows and rose windows, depicting biblical stories or floral patterns.
