During a layover in Guangzhou, I decided to have a hearty meal right after getting off the plane. I chose a well-reviewed restaurant called 'Oyster Affair.' The restaurant's decor is filled with a strong retro vibe, with spacious seating and a great sense of space, making dining particularly comfortable. The service was also quite good. The staff were all young but very friendly and attentive, providing detailed introductions to the dishes. This time, I ordered a whole table of delicious food, including must-try recommendations like oyster rice, oyster family platter, marinated sweet shrimp, and duck shit aroma lemon tea! The oysters were fresh and plump, with even a durian flavor that had a unique taste, leaving a deep impression. The marinated sweet shrimp was also very tasty, and the waiter specifically reminded us to eat something first before trying it to avoid stomach discomfort. They even provided free congee for dine-in, which was surprisingly delicious! Overall, the meal was not only delicious but also very affordable, with great value for money! The only thing that was just average was the pork knuckle, which was a bit pricey, and I think the ones in Taiwan are better🤣. If you have the chance to come to Guangzhou, you must try 'Oyster Affair.' Highly recommended!
