My cousin took us to Guangzhou and we stayed at the White Swan Hotel. It was worth it!

This long-established five-star hotel on the Pearl River offers stunning night views from its scenic rooms. Although the hotel was built quite some time ago, the service is excellent, and it's incredibly popular. The back door leads directly to Shamian Island, with its Western-style architecture. Turn left, and you'll find the Huangsha Seafood Market, where you can buy fresh seafood and have it cooked for you. Turn right, and there are two restaurants serving excellent morning tea. The White Swan's own morning tea is also top-notch. About 10 years ago, the hotel underwent renovations, reducing the number of rooms from over 500 to around 380. However, the layout and style remain contemporary. The family rooms with executive privileges are particularly comfortable.
