It covers a total area of 67,000 square meters. It is the only provincial comprehensive museum in Guangdong Province. Historical background and architectural characteristics The design of the Guangdong Provincial Museum is inspired by the jade Bi on the land of Southern Guangdong, which looks like a huge jasper inlaid in the city. The interior space is open, well-lit, and full of artistic atmosphere.The museum is divided into the Zhujiang New Town Museum Area and the Wenming Road Museum Area. The architectural design concept of the Zhujiang New Town Museum Area draws on the traditional Guangdong handicraft ivory ball.
