Museum Based on the Archaeological Remains of the Nanyue Kingdom

The Nanyue King Museum (Palace Exhibition Area) is located on Beijing Road in Guangzhou. It is a museum built on the basis of important archaeological remains of the Nanyue Kingdom. The Nanyue King Museum was established in 2021 and is divided into two exhibition areas: the king's tomb (located on Jiefang North Road) and the palace. The Nanyue Kingdom, also known as the Nanyue Kingdom, was a regime in the Lingnan region from the late Qin Dynasty to the Western Han Dynasty, and lasted for 93 years. In 1995, the site of the Nanyue Kingdom Palace was discovered, and the palace exhibition area was opened in 2014. The museum has four permanent exhibitions: Nanyue Palace, Southern Han Palace, Famous City Guangzhou for Two Thousand Years, and Drinking Water and Thinking of the Source - Ancient Well Culture in Guangzhou.
