South China Botanical Garden Bald Cypress | Surprising, but not stunning

Finally had time to check out the South China National Botanical Garden in Guangzhou this week. Everyone says the bald cypress here is stunning, but in my experience, it was surprising, but not stunning. 📍Bald Cypress Check-in Point Bald cypress is mainly distributed on Qilin Bridge, Resort Road, and Biological Park Road (see the red-marked area in picture 9). The official promotional photo was taken from the Rainbow Bridge looking at Qilin Bridge (see picture 2 and the bottom half of picture 1). Many people are attracted by these photos. 🌳On-site Experience I walked around in the afternoon, and to be honest, I was a little disappointed 😔. The bald cypress is not densely distributed, nor is it in the colored forest area, so although the scenery is beautiful, it is not as stunning as people say online. However, the bald cypress on Resort Road and Biological Park Road is planted in the water, and the reflection in the water is quite unique. It is the most beautiful place in the park. 🌇Sunset At sunset, the greenhouse group on Resort Road is really beautiful! The whole venue is bright and transparent in the sunlight, and the warm yellow light on the building creates a great atmosphere. But what I like most is the vibrant crowd in the botanical garden. The elderly take pictures of each other. I think I will do the same in the future. People with annual or monthly passes run in the park. They are regulars, and we are just visitors. When the park is no longer just a check-in place, but truly integrated into people's lives, it shows its most beautiful side. 💰Average Cost: Park ticket: CNY 20/person. Greenhouse Group Scenic Area (in the park) ticket: CNY 50/person. Combo ticket (park ticket + Greenhouse Group Scenic Area ticket): CNY 50/person. 📝Personal Suggestions: 1. Come in the morning to take pictures, as the sunlight is better. 2. Buy a combo ticket. I was interested in the Greenhouse Group from the outside.
