Liwan Park and Litchi Bay

Liwan Lake Park is located in the Pantang area of Liwan District, Guangzhou. It is bordered by Longjin West Road to the east, the lower reaches of Xiguan Shangzhiyong to the south, Huangsha Avenue to the west, and Zhongshan Eighth Road to the north. Historically, this area was known for its abundant litchi trees. Built in 1958, the park covers an area of approximately 27 hectares, with the lake accounting for 62% of the total area. Visitors can rent small boats and water bikes to explore the lake. With restaurants and amusement facilities, it is a comprehensive park. It is connected to Pantang Wuyue, Litchi Bay, and Renwei Temple. If you walk to the end of Litchi Bay, you can reach Yongqing Fang and the Cantonese Opera Art Museum. Inside and near the park, you'll find Panxi Restaurant, Tangliyuan, Zhuxi, Guangzhou Restaurant, and Xiangqun. There is also a snack street on Pantang Road. During Lunar New Year, in addition to the flower market on Liwan Road, there is also a floating flower market in Liwan Park. I recommend spending a day playing, taking photos, and enjoying the food in these areas. I visited during the Lunar New Year period.
