In addition, the museum has one free admission day per month. ❤Recommended reason: Zhenhai Tower Exhibition Area: Located in the beautiful Yuexiu Park, Zhenhai Tower was built in the 13th year of the Hongwu period of the Ming Dynasty (1380) and was a city tower built by Zhu Liangzu, Marquis of Yongjia, when he repaired the city of Guangzhou. In 1928, the Guangzhou Municipal Government established the "Guangzhou Municipal Museum" here, which officially opened to the public on February 11, 1929. The exhibition area systematically displays the cultural, folk, and urban development changes of Guangzhou over the past five or six thousand years through exhibits such as artifacts, photos, and materials unearthed in or related to Guangzhou from various periods. Zhongyuan Building Exhibition Area: Located on the east side of Zhenhai Road, the main building of the exhibition area, Zhongyuan Library, was built in memory of Deng Zhongyuan, a general of the Xinhai Revolution. It now houses special exhibitions such as "Treasures of Maritime Trade: Guangzhou Export Artworks from the 18th to Early 20th Century", which showcase the history of foreign trade at the port of Guangzhou during the Qing Dynasty. 🚉Transportation: Take Metro Line 2 to Yuexiu Park Station, and take Exit B2; or take other transportation to Sun Yat-sen Memorial Hall Station (Exit C) and walk 780 meters.
