It is so convenient now that they do not require cash for any purchase, everything can be done through Alipay or Wechat! Even the small stall on the street also only accept digital payment. Even taking train to any destination, also can be paid using digital payment! It can be as seamless as you expect. But of course, their public transport still allow people without that to pay using cash for ticket.
