The Grand Hyatt Guangzhou is the work of designer Remedios, who also designed the Grand Hyatt Tokyo. It is worth mentioning that Grand Hyatt Guangzhou is also the first hotel in Guangzhou to introduce a "sky lobby". The lobby has a high ceiling and the space is decorated with wooden boards and paper lanterns. The overall style is more Japanese. This is very similar to the Park Hyatt next door.
