On the weekend, the weather was unusually sultry, so I invited friends to swim at the outdoor pool of the Jumeirah Hotel. Zhujiang New Town in Guangzhou appeared so peaceful and gentle under the weekend sun, with every inch of land bathed in golden light. Due to the holiday, there were more children playing by the pool. The pool water shimmered under the sunlight, clear to the bottom, like a giant sapphire quietly embedded in the green jungle. I quickly changed into my swimsuit and eagerly jumped into the water. The pool water instantly enveloped me, and the cool touch dispelled the afternoon heat. I began to swim freely in the water, my body stretching naturally with each movement, like a fish gliding smoothly through the water. Occasionally, low conversations and children's laughter could be heard from the poolside, weaving into a harmonious and pleasant melody. I closed my eyes, letting the water gently caress my skin and the sunlight warm my body. At this moment, I felt as if I had merged with the entire world, with all worries and stress flowing away with the water. I spent an unforgettable time at the outdoor pool of the Jumeirah Hotel. Not only did I feel the coolness of the water and the warmth of the sun, but I also found a piece of tranquility in the busy urban life that belonged to me.
