As one of the oldest existing mosques in China, it is also known as the four earliest famous mosques in China along with Quanzhou Qingjing Temple, Hangzhou Phoenix Temple, and Yangzhou Xianhe Temple. The architectural layout of the temple is unique, with three gates on the main axis, the Moon Watching Tower, the Worship Hall and the Sutra Pavilion.
