Shamian Island, Guangzhou

Shamian Island, commonly known as 'Little Europe', is dotted with European-style buildings. Custard yellow, Finnish blue, lake green, the buildings' colors are reminiscent of macarons. Adjacent to the Pearl River, there are also some restaurants along the riverbank. The Xiangyun Guild Hall, located in a small villa, is uniquely distinctive, combining traditional fabrics with modern creativity. The little dragons made of Xiangyun silk are particularly adorable. Intangible cultural heritage, enduring and ever-evolving.
