As the only trading port for China to trade with Europe and the United States in modern times, Shisanhang prospered for nearly a hundred years. The museum vividly displays the pioneering, tolerant, pragmatic and enterprising spirit of Guangdong merchants, as well as the open-minded concept of Lingnan people.
