Fanghu in Guanghan, a free attraction

📍Address, inside the Luocheng Site in Guanghan City, Sichuan Province 💡Attraction Introduction, Fanghu Park is located in the southwest corner of Luocheng Street in Guanghan City, known as the 'Pearl of Western Sichuan'. It was built by the famous Tang Dynasty minister Fang Guan during his demotion to the position of Han State Governor. Covering an area of 528,000 square meters, it is rare among the counties in Western Sichuan. The park has an antique charm, featuring both the delicate elegance of Suzhou-style gardens and the ancient spirit of Bashu gardens. Fanghu Park is named after Fang Gong Lake within the park. It is now the central urban park of Guanghan City. In the park, Guan Garden is located on the northwest shore of the lake, consisting of halls and pavilions such as Liuqin Pavilion, Huaiqing Xuan, Xinken Residence, and Bingguang Pavilion. The architecture is richly elegant, with ingenious design, antique charm, and unique elegance. There is a Fang Gong Stone by the lake, a relic of Fang Guan, originally placed in front of the second hall of the state government office, and moved to the park for display after the founding of the country. Next to Fanghu, there is the Wenmiao Lingxing Gate, with over 200 stone carvings and reliefs, among which the Eight Steeds picture is particularly compelling. The park also contains the Shengyu Stele, engraved by Zhang Xianzhong when he invaded Chengdu at the end of the Ming Dynasty.
