It is the former residence of Zheng Renqing, the governor of Hedong Province in Shanxi during the Jiaqing period of the Qing Dynasty. The courtyard was first built during the Kangxi period of the Qing Dynasty and became large-scale during the Qianlong period. The building is large in scale and is a rare mid-Qing Dynasty through-beam wooden structure complex in northeastern Sichuan. The Daotai courtyard was nearly demolished during urban construction. Due to the appeals of enthusiastic people, it is now being protected by the government with the help of private enterprises. Repair and development. After three years of renovation, the inner courtyard and ancestral hall were restored, and new antique buildings such as the theater, front yard and back yard were built. It now has three floors and three courtyards. There are 4 courtyards, 5 patios, 66 rooms and 108 doors in total. Whether it is a renovated or newly built area, the style is very unified, and exquisite Sichuan craftsmanship wood carvings, moss-covered stone carvings and stone tools can be seen everywhere. There are several exhibition halls in the courtyard.
