The Lost World on Earth

Roraima mountain is an absolute must for everyone visiting Venezuela! Hiking Mount Roraima was one of the most incredible experiences I've had. It’s a 6-day trek, so it’s definitely challenging, but the views make it all worth it. The landscape is unlike anything I’ve seen—flat-topped mountains, strange plants, and unique rock formations everywhere. Roraima was actually the inspiration for Sir Arthur Conan Doyle’s *The Lost World*, which made it feel even more special cause it's one of my favorite novels. The hike itself isn’t easy; we climbed through jungle, crossed rivers, and hiked up steep terrain. But once we reach the top, it was like stepping into another world—clouds below, bizarre plant life, and a sense of isolation that's hard to describe. One thing to keep in mind: it's not just about the physical challenge. The weather up there is unpredictable, so pack wisely, especially for cold nights. But overall, it’s totally worth it. The beauty, the adventure, and the history make Roraima a place I’ll never forget. #internationaltravel #venezuela
