Trip to Gothenburg 🇸🇪

It was a trip to Gothenburg, Sweden. Just to share some of my favourite places ❤️ We visited the Gothenburg Museum of Art (Göteborgs Konstmuseum). It was established in 1923, this museum houses an impressive collection of Nordic art from the 15th century to the present, including works by Rembrandt, Picasso, and Edvard Munch. We explored the museum's vast collections, including Scandinavian paintings, international art, and temporary exhibitions. 📍Götaplatsen 6, 412 56 Gothenburg ⏰Open Tuesday to Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Wednesday until 8 p.m.) 💰 65 SEK for adults (around €6), free for children under 25 We also strolled through Haga District. We wandered through this charming historic neighborhood known for its well-preserved wooden houses, boutique shops, and cafes. P/S: Don't miss a "Hagabullen," a giant cinnamon bun at Café Husaren. 📍Haga Nygata, Gothenburg Besides, we also explored the Fish Market (Feskekôrka). It was built in 1874, the Feskekôrka, or "Fish Church," is a famous seafood market that looks like a Gothic church. We Browsed fresh seafood, have a light snack, and enjoyed the lively atmosphere. 📍Rosenlundsgatan, 411 20 Gothenburg ⏰Open Monday to Saturday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Closed Sundays) If you are looking for good restaurant for dinner, I would recommend you to try Restaurant Atelier. They served mainly Seasonal dishes with local ingredients, such as Nordic lamb or seafood dishes. All the dishes were very good and the ingredients were very fresh too 💯 💰Approximately 300-500 SEK per person (around €27-46) 📍 Magasinsgatan 3, 411 18 Gothenburg ⏰Open daily from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. We also explored the Maritiman Museum. This floating museum includes 15 historic ships, submarines, and other vessels, showcasing Sweden's rich maritime history. We explored the ships, including a destroyer, a submarine, and a lightship, and learn about Sweden's naval history. It was a very fun and interesting experience. 📍Packhuskajen 8, 411 13 Gothenburg ⏰ Open daily from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Seasonal, check website for details) 💰130 SEK for adults (around €12), 80 SEK for children (5-15) We also spent sometime walking around Gothenburg's Archipelago. We took a ferry to the Southern Archipelago to explore picturesque islands like Styrsö or Vrångö. 📍Ferries depart from Saltholmen, 426 76 Västra Frölunda 💰 Ferry ticket costs around 40-60 SEK one way (around €4-6) Last but not least, we also tried out the famous spot for dinner, Koka. They served tasting menu focused on New Nordic cuisine with local, seasonal ingredients. All the combinations were very unique yet delicious 💯 💰Approximately 750-1,250 SEK per person (around €70-116) 📍 Viktoriagatan 12, 411 25 Gothenburg ⏰Open Tuesday to Saturday from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. #europetrip #trip #vacation
