#myhiddengems Yes, this where the Volvo story began. But Gotherburg or Goteborg, amongst the world's most sustainable cities has so much more to offer to travellers. Amongst the biggest of cities in Sweden. I love it's location. It took me a little less than 3 hours of riding the ferry before I arrived from Denmark to Sweden. I was told norway was merely 2 hours of driving. I like crossing over to countries by the sea and land borders. Compared to the drag that airports have become. While on this trip I also covered Malmo, Jonkoping and Stockholm. I found Gothenburg to be the most lively of them all. There also seemed to be a lot more immigrants here. I wouldn't comment on that as a positive or negative but just an observation. The trams were a wonderful experience and affordable. I mostly used them for getting around in gothenburg. During my 3 nights in this city I visited several interesting places that I recommend. Namely consisting of Museums. There is the Volvo Museum, Gothenburg Museum of Natural History. Other than that I saw the Botaniska Trädgård. Huge free garden ! There also js the iseberg Tivolí where one could ride rollercoasters and other amusement rides.
