Gukgok-ri Dolmen+ Samseong Stream

However, over 40% of all dolmens in the world are located on the Korean peninsula with over 35,000 dolmens discovered. In Korea, dolmens were likely associated with burial rites or at least the Southern-style dolmens were. It is a link to pre-historic Korean civilizations with the formations dating to the Bronze Age. The ones along Samseong Stream are obviously new, but I appreciate the connection to the past and the unique features along the river. In 2024, I wish to visit this beautiful place again. #2024wish
