The lake water originates from the Nalenggele Valley in the western section of the Kunlun Mountains. Main Attractions* Yadan Landform: Strong winds carry away loose sand layers, leaving behind low-lying grooves, creating a unique landform landscape. Climate Characteristics* The Qaidam Basin has a plateau continental climate, characterized mainly by aridity. Annual precipitation decreases from 200 mm in the southeast to 15 mm in the northwest, with an annual average relative humidity of 30-40%, and a minimum of less than 5%. The average annual temperature in the basin is below 5°C, with significant temperature variations. The absolute annual temperature difference can exceed 60°C, and the daily temperature difference often reaches around 30°C, with nighttime temperatures in summer dropping below 0°C. Strong winds prevail, with 25-75 days of winds above level 8 annually, and in the west, strong winds of up to 40 meters per second can occur, causing severe wind erosion. 5.
