Travels to Sovereign Hill Mine

Sovereign Hill is very close to Ballarat Wildlife Park. We visited both places in the same day, using Uber. Tickets are required for both. Walking into the mine is like stepping into a RPG gold rush world. The employees are all dressed like miners. The mine is large and you can spend about two hours exploring it. You can experience gold panning in the river, see how gold is mined, and enjoy horse-drawn carriage rides and parades. It's quite a sight!
