The Baroque Gardens of the Belvedere rank among the most beautiful in Austria. It is situated in between the Lower and Upper Belvedere. The Sala Terrena, the grand staircase and the Marble Hall are three architectural highlights you can't miss when you go inside. The Upper Belvedere houses the impressive collection of Austrian art dating from the Middle Ages to the present day. The most famous collection is "The Kiss", an oil-on-canvas painting with added golden leaf, silver and platinum by the Austrian painter Gustav Klimt. Buying tickets online is more worth it, and you need to reserve a time slot to enter Upper Belvedere.
